Ring.io offers the ability for your customers to opt-out or unsubscribe from text messages using keywords which trigger an automatic reply. This article will help to better understand the supported opt-out and opt-in keywords for the Ring.io messaging service.

STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT

When a customer replies with the keywords, Ring.io will automatically block the sending and receiving of text messages to the number. When Ring.io receives one of these replies, we add the number to the block list and respond with the following.

Default reply: You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.

Only single-word messages will trigger the block. For example, if a customer replies STOP, Ring.io will stop the customer from receiving messages from that particular number, but replying 'STOP PLEASE' or 'PLEASE CANCEL' will not trigger a block.

START, YES and UNSTOP

When a customer replies with the keywords, Ring.io will automatically opt the customer back into messaging. When Ring.io receives one of these replies, we remove the number from the block list and respond with the following.

Default reply: You have successfully been re-subscribed to messages from this number. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data Rates May Apply.
