Ring.io's universal search bar lets you quickly find contacts or dial phone numbers directly from any screen. It's located at the top left of the Ring.io App and can also be opened with the Ctrl + K keyboard shortcut.
Dialing a Phone Number Directly
Click the search bar at the top of the page (or press Ctrl + K).
Type or paste the phone number. Ring.io will display several options:
Call — Immediately place an outbound call to that number.
Send SMS — Send a text message to that number.
Create contact — Save the number as a new contact.
Matching contacts — If the number belongs to an existing contact, that contact will appear below so you can open their profile first.
Select the action you'd like to take.
Searching for a Contact by Name
Click the search bar at the top of the page (or press Ctrl + K).
Type the contact's name. As you type, Ring.io will display matching results from your connected CRM, showing each contact's phone number and email address.
Click on the contact you'd like to view.
This will open their contact profile, where you can see their full call history, call summaries, recordings, contact details, and take actions like calling and sending an email or SMS template.
