Enable and Disable Eavesdrop

Understand how to enable or disable Eavesdrop for users and account

The Ring.io eavesdrop features allows for standard Ring.io users to eavesdrop on live calls. This feature can only be enabled and disabled by Ring.io administrators.

This is an ideal setting for Ring.io users that don't need to be granted administrator rights but need to eavesdrop on calls for quality assurance or call coaching.

1. Log into the Ring.io Admin Portal > Click the Users tab.

2. Select the user that needs eavesdrop enabled > check the Eavesdrop box to enable eavesdrop. To disable eavesdrop, uncheck the Eavesdrop box > click Save Changes

To enable and disable Eavesdrop at the account level

  1. Log into the Ring.io Admin Portal > click Productivity Features

2. Click Remove the Eavesdrop Feature to disable Eavesdrop. To enable the Eavesdrop feature, click Add Eavesdrop to my account. Click I agree on the prompt to proceed.
