Disabling Exclusive Mode in Windows

If you're still experiencing audio issues after following all troubleshooting steps, there may be an off chance that a setting in your system is not allowing access to your device. There's an easy way to check this; follow the steps below.

​NOTE: This applies to Windows 10/11 users

1. Right-click the Speaker icon on the Windows toolbar > select Sound settings


2. Select More sound settings


3. Select the audio device you are using > click Properties > select the Advanced tab


4. Uncheck Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device > click Apply and OK to save changes
